Ananda Thandavam Tollywood Movie Review
Story:
A tale twisted with perversion, the story begins with Raghu (Siddarth) who is about to commit suicide since the one girl he loved Madhumati (Tamannah) has turned him down after playing with his feelings for a long time. Apparently, Madhu's parents fix her wedding with Radhakrishna (Rishi) who lives in the US and the girl who is basically innocent tends to go according to her parent's decision. Meanwhile, Raghu is saved from his attempt and he is given a piece of wisdom. He decides to go to New York and become a big man. As fate would have it, he meets Rathna (Rukmini) and she falls in love with him while Raghu likes her nature. However, there he also meets Madhu who seems to be happy. However, she gets to know that Radhakrishna has been cheating on her and while she looks towards Raghu for help, he is on the verge of getting engaged to Rathna. Does he accept her love? What happens to Rathna's love? Will Madhu be happy? All this forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director came up with an appealing storyline but then he made a major mess of it with poor narration. The presentation was the saving grace for the film. The dialogues were written with explicit perversion, the script was weak and the screenplay was stale. The bright side of it some melodious music and background score, exceptional camerawork and mind blowing locations. The real culprit in the entire movie is the editing which was absolutely terrible. Costumes and art department did their bit very neatly. Coming to the cast, Tamannah was more on oozing out her sex appeal and glamour than her acting. Siddarth looked dumb and lifeless without expressions, Rukmini had a bright charm but she needs to add more flesh if she wants to become a heroine. Kitti was gracious in his role while Charlie was just present. The others did not have much to do.

Conclusion:
The film was attempting to convey that there is friendship even if love does not work out but in reality that never happens. Instead, the maker was quite keen on getting dirty with the dialogues and creating a very perverted environment. While the first half was dull and boring, it is the second half with some good visual of New York that cheers things up. However, the content aspect is absolute trash. The villain goes scot free, the hero is heartbroken, the true lover doesn't get her love reciprocated and the loved one meets with a tragic end. One really fails to understand where the title has got anything to do with the story.
