Romeo Audio launched

The Audio of the music of the film Romeo, composed by Agasthya, has been released through Madhura Entertainment at a function held at State Art Gallery in Hyderabad on Sunday evening.

The audio cassettes and CDs have been launched by actor Srihari and handed over the first numbers to director VV Vinayak.

The film Romeo, starring Aryan Rajesh and Shraddha Arya in the lead roles with Srihari as the principal character, is being produced by Srinivas under the banner of Sudha Entertainments and directed by Ramakrishna.

Romeo is getting ready for a summer holiday release.

Mega Powerstar Ramcharan Teja who is all set to arrive with his forthcoming venture ‘Magadheera’ seems to be in for a different recipe this time. ‘Komaram Puli’ Release in the month of August

Pawan Kalyan’s Komaram Puli shoot is completed by 70%. Director SJ Surya was speaking to Tamil media in Chennai and disclosed ‘ Shoot is completed by 70% and editing, postproduction work is in progress for the part that has completed shoot. Pawan Kalyan is busy with Election campaigning right now, he would be free by third week of April and final schedule shoot is planned in the last week of April. The film is scheduled to release in the month of August 2009′.

Nikhisha is the heroine. Singanamala Ramesh is producing the film Kanakarthna Movies banner. A R Raheman is the music director. Manoj Bajipai, Charan Raj, Sharanya, Nazar and Ali are playing the other key roles for the film.

Chandra Sekhar Yeleti the critically acclaimed master story teller is Directing and Producing "Prayanam" in his home banner “Aryaki Arts”. His earlier films Aithe (2003), Anukokunda Oka Roju (2005) and Okkadunnadu (2007) were blockbusters.

Prayanam is a simple love story where a boy meets a girl, falls in love and how he convinces her finally. It has lots and lots of humor with a major part of the movie taking place in Malaysian International Airport.

According to Chandra Sekhar Yeleti watching Prayanam will be like reading a Tinkle comic book.

The film has 7 important characters with their roles as:-

1. Manoj Manchu: Lead actor traveling from Malaysia to Singapore.
2. Harika: Harika is doing her post graduation in Malaysia. She is going back to India to select the bride.
3. Kalpika: Harika's friend accompanying her to India.
4. Janardhan: Manoj’s friend. Janardhan is one the four actors (studious guy) in Aithe film.
5. Tamim: Manoj’s friend.
6. Brahmanandam: Brahmanandam is a farmer who finished his world tour and is going back to India from Malaysia.
7. Daniel: Daniel is a foreigner who is a co-passenger to these guys.

Billa Movie Review

Story: A visual treat, the story begins on the backdrop of Malaysia and this is ruled by the most wanted criminal Billa (Prabhas) who is into weapons, gold and other illegal activities. He is chased by ACP Krishnamurthy (Krishnamraju) but Billa gets away each time. Meanwhile, pressure comes from Interpol officer Dharmendra (Rehman) on Billa case. Billa is flanked by Lisa (Namitha), Ranjith (Supreeth), Vijay (Subbaraju) in his gang but then he does not believe in anyone. In his gang joins Maya (Anushka) who comes with a vengeance to kill him. However, he gets caught during a deal and while escaping Krishnamurthy shoots him. Billa dies but without giving the details of a dangerous deal that he has with Rashid Khan (Kelly). Meanwhile, with the help of police informer Shankar (Ali), Krishnamurthy identifies Ranga (Prabhas), a petty thief in Vizag who looks just like Billa. He brings Ranga to Malaysia and trains him to take the place of Billa since no one knows his death. What happens from there forms the rest of the story. Presentation: The director has come up with a storyline that has been known for generations and though the presentation was alright, the narrative had flaws. The dialogues were weak, the script was written without strength, screenplay was random. Music was just average with two songs worth humming, cinematography could have been a lot better, editing was crisp but sometimes the shots were too short. Full marks to costumes and locations, the art department has done a neat job. The car chase sequence was good. Prabhas has come up with a very good performance and more than Billa, it was his role as Ranga that looked more convincing. Namitha was there for the glamour, so was Anushka but then her bikini scene did get attention, she was quite seductive in this movie. Krishnamraju was just okay, Rehman was neat, Kelly Dorjee had more punch, Supreeth was effective, Ali was alright. The others did not have much to do in this. Conclusion: The film happens to be a remake of the 'Billa' that became a blockbuster in Tamil. While the first half got a bit boring with the first fifteen minutes looking very stale, the tempo picks up eventually. A lot of focus was put on the style and slick presentation but content could have been worked more in terms of providing punch dialogues and some intense scenes. However, the movie is technically well made and the makers have scored more on that. The film will surely be a visual feast with the glamour of Anushka, Namitha and the acting of Prabhas.

Prabhas Latest Movie ‘Ekniranjan’ the latest of Puri-Prabhas

Starring Prabhas, introducing bollywood beauty Kangana Ranaut, most influential director Puri Jagannath began making a new film that moved to floors at Lahari Park on 31st March. Titled as ‘Ekniranjan’ it is a produce of Aditya Ram on AdityaRam Movies banner, as a starter to a line of films planned in combination with Puri.
The first ceremonial shot of this prodigious venture was filmed featuring Prabhas and Kangana Ranaut. Speaking on this occasion producer AdityaRam said “Puri Jagannath has incorporated fresh sequences into this story, which makes the subject very interesting and surely it will be a complete entertainer for all classes of audience. Commingling Jagannath’s unique style of direction and the admirable body language of Prabhas this will stand as a trendsetter.”
“This is an out and out commercial movie; you will have romance, action, fun, emotion and everything you name” says director Puri.
Kangana is very happy being introduced by her favourite director Jagannath, opposite Prabhas and not lease on the prestigious banner of Aditya Movies. She hopes to make it big with her first stint in Telugu.
‘Ekniranjan’ will complete production in a single schedule that continues till July.
